Training
Management
Like all organizations, banks face the daunting challenge of keeping
their staff up-to-date on so many topics – banking regulations,
employment laws, computer hardware and software, customer service
and sales. And, they have to do more than train their staffs – they
have to track who knows what. The Training Registration and Record-Keeping
module simplifies this process. It provides a centralized resource
for publishing training schedules, tracking registrations and building
employee skill files so that the bank can maintain a complete picture
of what they know.
The Benefits
The Banking Intranet’s Training System:
- Provides users with
a central resource for all training offered at the bank.
- Allows
users to review syllabi, register for classes and maintain
a record of their training and certification on the intranet.
- Creates a
curriculum vitae for each associate. These records serve as
an archive of the bank’s knowledge; they can
track the skills, experience and training of their
team members and
know whom to call
upon when the need arises.
The Features
The system provides users with a central resource for
all training offered at the bank. They can review syllabi, register
for
classes and maintain a record of their training and certification.
The
system will, to the extent possible, be integrated with the
Bankers’ Edge
courses the bank is currently offering.
Course Information
Each department will have the option to publish training
information for their department. For each class, the following
data is
be stored in the database and presented on the Intranet.
Certification Information
Certification programs are collections
of classes that the bank offers its associates to develop job-related
skills. For example,
the bank
might offer a certification program for each
Teller grade. The Intranet lists the certification programs
and describes
their
content and
purpose.
Curriculum Vitae
The Training System makes it possible for
banks to record and search for team members’ credentials and skills. The System tracks
registration, attendance and scores for all bank-offered training.
Authorized users may also enter additional data into the vitae including
past work experience, special skills and outside training.
